Reminder: Special School Board Meeting TODAY at 1 pm to Discuss Lawsuits, Board Leadership

Reminder to all citizens of York County: The School Board has scheduled a rare special public meeting for Tuesday at 1 pm at York Hall. In addition to scheduling the meeting in the middle of a work day while school is in session to assure the minimum attendance possible, the School Board has chosen not to livestream the meeting. We will attempt to livestream the event on the saveYCSD Facebook page and upload the video elsewhere later in the day.

The agenda for the meeting can be found on BoardDocs but it contains mysteries. It includes an initial closed session “Concerning Possible Litigation Against the Board and/or Board Members Related to the Terms and Conditions of the Superintendent's Contract“ and closes with discussion and an as yet private resolution “Regarding Board Leadership and Direction“
