OUR VISION

Our vision is to see the students, teachers, administration and staff of York County schools thrive.

We support an educational environment that allows students to learn, be curious and explore; a classroom environment that gives teachers the freedom and safety to guide young minds; a work environment that empowers administration and staff to perform at their best to carry out the mission of excellence in education; a community environment that engages in the governance of YCSD schools for the betterment of all.

WE BELIEVE

We are a non-partisan coalition of concerned citizens who believe York County schools are best served through school board members who support the many people and diverse needs of our school division.

We believe the actions and conduct of the YCSD Board has a direct effect on the ability of students, teachers, administration and staff to reach their goals, achieve their best, and enjoy their YCSD experience.

We believe public schools should be governed to benefit the greater good, not personal agendas.

We believe public schools should not have the private beliefs of a few imposed on them.

We believe in building on the record of excellence in York County schools, not tearing them down as fuel for culture wars.

We believe that an organization of engaged parents and citizens can positively influence the current YCSD board, monitor and hold them accountable and choose future board members that place pupils above politics.
