YCSD Working Meeting - Nov. 18, 2024 - 6 p.m.
York County School Division Board will hold a work session Monday, November, 18, 2024 at the York Hall East Room, 301 Main Street, Yorktown, at 6:00 P.M.
On the agenda are presentations on capital improvements, facilities master plan, early literacy assessment, professional development and program of studies, where changes to students’ courses will be proposed.
Also on the agenda will be policy discussions on Cell Phone-Free Education, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), board roles and responsibilities, and the next regular meeting’s agenda.
The meeting will be broadcast live on YCSD-TV (Cox Cable channel 47 and Verizon channel 39) and on YouTube.

Although public comment is not allowed at this meeting, the things discussed may be voted on in the near future.
The recent election has drained many advocates of good governance but it is important to stay informed of the policies and planned actions of the board.
